Service Level Corporation and CCMI Offer Two North American Rating Solutions

Service Level Corporation and CCMI debut two North American rating solutions, Local Call Pricer and Toll Call Pricer.

Today, Service Level Corporation (SLC) and CCMI (Center For Communications Management Information), a United Communications Group (UCG) company, mutually announced the debut of these two products designed expressly to shorten the time for deployment of rating applications using the CCMI Q-TEL 9000 database.

This also signals the public recognition of a joint marketing relationship that goes back more than fifteen years to when the principals at SLC ran Lynn-Arthur Associates, Inc., a rating software company acquired by CableData in 1997.

Toll Call Pricer, in concert with a CCMI Q-TEL 9000 database, permits a customer to begin rating phone calls within hours. This software API allows the immediate inclusion of the rating functionality on Windows and Unix platforms. It rates local, intrastate and interstate toll, and international calls for any origin within North America. It handles direct dial, operator assisted, calling card, etc. service types.

Local Call Pricer, in concert with a CCMI Q-TEL 9000 database, permits customers to rate local phone calls with the local tariffs of the local exchange carrier for every exchange recorded in the CCMI database. This is a limited version of the Toll Call Pricer to serve the segment of the market needing only local call pricing.

These new products provide a lower priced solution to open the door to smaller carriers, resellers, and enterprise users. They can deploy rating and charging applications quickly without having to develop rating software experts in-house before they can get their applications delivered.

The software is available for use as a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) on the Windows platform so that it can be used from C++, C, Visual Basic, and the .NET platforms.
