Global Provider of OSS Solutions Selects SLC’s Ratchet Rating

Ann Arbor, MI, 31 May 2005 - Service Level Corporation, an international provider of rating and pricing solutions, today announced an OEM agreement with a global provider of advanced operations support systems (OSS) solutions permitting the integration of SLC’s Ratchet Rating System in all of their product lines. Through integration with its current products, this deal allows this OSS solution provider to upgrade its solutions offered to customers and unify their rating solutions into one rules-based rating engine. Our OEM customer currently provides rating with several of their product offerings.

They have deployed our rating software in their enterprise applications since the 1980s from our previous rating company, Lynn-Arthur Associates.”

Ratchet Rating System delivers a double-barreled solution of rules-based rating with built-in data mediation facilities. Rules-based rating delivers flexible pricing and rating services to speed business change and rate plan development. Adopting an approach to using the raw data, Ratchet’s built-in data mediation adapts the rating processes to input and output formats from binary to AMA to XML without programming. The costs for interfacing to other systems disappear.

SLC is providing a year of integration and training support to ease the integration of Ratchet into the OEM customer’s product offerings.

Our OEM customer’s first installation of the rating software from SLC is at fast growing North American Tier 1 carrier.
