Ratchet Rating System hits unequaled processing performance levels; rates more than 1.5 billion transactions per day

Carl Wright, President of Service Level Corporation reported, "We've
completed a month of work on improving the performance of the Ratchet Rating
System. This testing and the progressive improvement of the software was performed
on the Solaris operating platforms.".
The results are listed below.

Carl Wright also noted that performance numbers are valuable as a guide, but that tests with actual operational data are the only reliable information for a service provider. He said, "We are prepared to perform tests with live data to support client decision-making".
Mr. Wright also praised the high level of support and assistance provided
by the Sun Microcomputer organization. He said, "Sun is an excellent
partner. I couldn't hope for better support".
Summary
If you run the Ratchet Rating System on a 24 processor system, as a competitor described in their press release, you get 1.5 billion transactions processed per day (mini-batches of IP transactions).
For telephony EMI batch processing, you get 1.092 billion transactions processed per day.
With this level of performance, any questions about the scalability of the Ratchet Rating System can be answered for service providers.
