Service Level Corporation Secures First and Second Round Capitalization
from Its Founders.
Ann Arbor, MI,
July 1, 1999 - Service Level Corporation, a telecommunications and
Internet software infrastructure startup company, announced that it received
commitments for its first and second round financing from its founders.
In addition to their
investment in Service Level Corporation, the industry veterans Carl Wright
and Becky Glesner, are focusing their full-time on the development and deployment
of SLC's product in the marketplace.
"We anticipate opportunities
to develop and delivery technologies to make more effective businesses and
more satisfied customers.", said Carl Wright. "There are new methods
of serving customers with the Internet and telecommunications that have been
poorly used. Customer support technology and business management software
often drops the ball on commitments to customers. Our products will help companies
change that."
The two product innovators
built and sold a previous company, Lynn-Arthur Associates, Inc., to USCS International
Inc. Lynn-Arthur Associates, Inc. was noted for its innovative telecommunications
software technology. It provided rating software, data collections systems,
real-time rating applications for rental cellular and operator services and
cellular roaming billing exchange software.
USCS acquired the stock
of Lynn-Arthur Associates for cash and stock in 1997. USCS renamed Lynn-Arthur
Associates, Inc. to CableData Telecommunications, Inc. The two continued as
President and Vice President of the company until 1999. After
resigning from CableData, they started Service Level Corporation.
